Visit a relative at Hospital del mar
GENERAL RULES:
- If you have respiratory symptoms (cough, fever and/or nasal congestion), please DO NOT ENTER the hospital. Delegate your visit to someone else.
- Surgical masks must be worn at all times while in the room or unit.
- A maximum of two simultaneous visitors per patient is recommended.
- Hand hygiene.
- In order to prevent possible infections to patients, plants, flowers, soft toys and/or food are not permitted.
At specific times, the visiting regime may be modified according to the capacity of the spaces and at the discretion of those responsible for each area.
Hospitalization Units
- Only 2 companions per patient may stay in the room and, at night, one companion may stay in the room.
- Recommended visiting hours from 13.00 h to 21.00 h.
Critics and Semicritics Unit
- An escort 24 hours a day.
- With the exception of 8 to 12 hours when it is recommended that there is no accompanying person (cures, hygiene and tests).
- Punctual visits: (There can never be more than 2 companions per box).
- One extra visitor in two different time slots.
- Timetable: 12:30 h to 14:00 h, 18:30h to 20:00 h.
Post-Surgical Reanimation Unit
- Visit every day from the first day of admission.
- Only 1 person during the visit.
- The patient may receive visits twice a day.
Location: ground floor D.
Family Waiting Room: ground floor.
Visiting Hours:
- Morning: 1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m..
- Afternoon: 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m..
- Possibility of open hours according to healthcare criteria.
Emergency
- Visits are allowed to all patients.
- Only 1 person per visit.
- Opening hours: 24 hours
- Accompanying persons must ALWAYS remain inside the BOX.
- Exceptions (visiting regime according to the indications of the care team):
- End of life process.
